Evolution

I can’t believe its barely into January and I’m are already booked for more than half of my weekend availability for 2013!!!! It is so exciting to think that just a year ago I was taking something I have always loved and turning my passion into a full time Photography business! Ive really thrown myself out there taking as many classes, workshops and seminars as I can, on top of real life learning with my awesome clients. I am a firm believer that no matter how many years of experience you have, if you can’t learn something new every time you shoot or work with someone different you have stopped evolving. Now that I am heading into my first full season as a full time Wedding Photographer this is even more important. I’m so thankful for all of my amazing clients and wonderful cheerleaders as I dive into this new chapter of life I will be spending time with some of the most amazingly fun couples at (honestly) the coolest locations!!!

As this year begins, I really want to take the time to challenge myself everyday… to take the time to reflect on the little moments and enjoy them while they are here. It doesn’t hurt to throw yourself a creative curveball once and awhile either. So This year I’m participating in Paint the Moon’s Project 52 Lifestyle Photography challenge. First of all… I LOVE (mildly Facebook stalk all of the gorgeous things that come from Annie’s page for Paint the Moon) Her work is to die for, her girls are so cute it makes me want to have another baby and she has such an eye for her kraft. So I’m starting off my year by capturing something thats an evening ritual… relaxation time with the family in the living room. We usually watch TV, talk, hang out or whatever to wind down before bedtime.
